Terms of Service
Last updated: August 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Freelance Copilot browser extension and website (collectively, the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
Freelance Copilot is a browser extension that provides AI-assisted analysis of freelance job postings on platforms such as Upwork and Fiverr. The Service includes job scoring, proposal drafting, quote suggestions, and client screening insights.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. License
Upon purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service. Free users are limited to 10 job analyses per calendar month. Paid users receive unlimited use for the lifetime of the product.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate the terms of Upwork, Fiverr, or any other platform.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service.
- Resell, redistribute, or share paid licenses outside your permitted use.
5. AI-Assisted Content
Freelance Copilot generates suggestions using third-party AI models. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any proposal or message before sending it to a client. We do not guarantee hiring outcomes.
6. Payments and Refunds
The Service is offered as a one-time purchase of $4.99 USD for unlimited lifetime use, or as a free tier with limited monthly usage. Payments are processed by Creem. Due to the digital nature of the product, all sales are final. Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion within 14 days of purchase if the Service is materially non-functional.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular result will be achieved on freelance platforms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freelance Copilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Freelance Copilot is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
